One ingredient. Beeswax. The scent is its own.

Scent profile

Character
The faint, warm, golden scent of raw beeswax — softly honey-adjacent, gently sweet, entirely natural.
Intensity
Very gentle. This is not a scented candle in the traditional sense — it is the absence of added scent, and the presence of something more honest.
Closest reference
Standing near a hive on a warm afternoon. Nothing synthetic. Nothing added. Just the wax.

This candle has one ingredient.

That's not a limitation — it's the most direct expression of what we believe. Raw beeswax has a natural scent that most candle companies cover up because it doesn't fit their fragrance formulas. We left it alone. What remains is a faint, warm honey character that comes entirely from the wax itself.

The result is a candle for people who are fragrance-sensitive, who burn candles near infants, who are pregnant, or who simply prefer their space to smell like their space — just warmer and quieter.

Part of our Pure Collection. One ingredient. Nothing to hide because there's nothing to disclose.

Ritual Suggestions:

Nurseries and infants' rooms · Pregnancy · Meditation · Bedrooms · Fragrance-sensitive households · Any space where you want warmth and light without scent.

Ingredients:

There is one ingredient in this candle: beeswax. The honey-adjacent scent you notice is the wax's own natural character — not added, not enhanced, not replicated. It is the real thing.

One ingredient. Beeswax. The complete list.

Getting the best from your candle

On the first burn, allow the candle to stay lit until the melt pool — the liquid wax on the surface — reaches the outer edge of the vessel. For an 8 oz candle, this takes approximately 2 to 3 hours.

Beeswax melts more slowly than paraffin or soy. If you extinguish the candle before the melt pool reaches the edges, the wax develops a memory of that boundary and tunnels down the center for every burn that follows. Tunneling is difficult to reverse. A full first burn prevents it entirely.

If you don't have 2–3 hours available, wait until you do.

Our wicks are pre-sized to the vessel during pouring and do not require trimming before the first burn. After each burn, once the candle has cooled completely, trim the blackened tip to approximately ¼ inch before relighting. A wick trimmer works best; small scissors work too.

A properly trimmed wick maintains a steady, clean flame. An untrimmed wick produces a larger, flickering flame with more soot. ¼ inch is the target.

Raw beeswax sometimes develops a white coating on its surface — called bloom — when its natural oils migrate to the surface in response to temperature changes or simply time. It is entirely natural, entirely harmless, and has no effect on burn quality or scent. A gentle warming with your hands, or a brief pass with a soft cloth, will often restore the amber surface. Bloom is a sign of authentic beeswax, not a defect.

Beeswax burns at a lower temperature than paraffin, which means scent is released more gradually and diffuses more evenly throughout the room. If you're accustomed to synthetic candles, the throw may seem subtle at first. Allow 20–30 minutes and notice how the room has changed. The difference is in the quality of the scent, not the volume.

We recommend burn sessions of 2–4 hours. Burning beyond 4 hours can cause the wick to become too long, increasing soot and reducing scent performance. Never leave a burning candle unattended or within reach of children or pets. Burn on a heat-resistant surface away from drafts, curtains, and anything flammable.

When your candle is finished: warm the vessel gently, remove any remaining wax, and wash with warm soapy water. The glass is worth keeping. Use it for small plants, cotton rounds, a pen holder, or anything else that fits your space.
