Marisa
Bello.
Fifteen years as an entrepreneur. The last decade has been spent building Solstice Naturals, a small-batch candle studio in Gainesville, Georgia, around the belief that beautiful things should still tell you what they’re made of.
Build slowly. Stay close to the work.
Marisa’s work as an entrepreneur began long before Solstice Naturals. When the candle studio took shape, she brought with her a habit that still defines the brand: look past the claim on the front and understand what is actually inside.
Solstice grew from that question. What if the ritual of a candle could feel considered from the material outward—clear in its ingredients, careful in its making, and beautiful enough to live with?
The maker stays close.
In Gainesville, Georgia, Marisa melts American beeswax, sets each wick, and pours candles in small batches. She stays close to each batch through finishing and labeling, keeping the work connected to the person who will eventually light it.
The scent approach changes by collection. It may begin with essential oils, carefully selected fragrance oils, or a blend. What does not change is the expectation that the materials and process should be understandable.

Marisa Bello is a fifteen-year entrepreneur and founder of Solstice Naturals, a small-batch candle studio in northeast Georgia she has spent the last decade building. Every candle is hand-poured in American beeswax, with scent created through essential oils, carefully selected fragrance oils, or a blend depending on the collection. Her approach centers on ingredient transparency, thoughtful materials, and hands-on craftsmanship—principles that have shaped Solstice Naturals into a distinctive independent candle brand with a considered approach to modern luxury.
What guides the studio.
